We leverage the internet to enable local therapists in developing countries to provide clinically appropriate wheelchairs to children with disabilities. Specifically, we developed software which helps design and creates dimensioned drawings of custom wheelchairs based on parameters entered by local clinicians. Affordable Wheelchairs are designed specifically for the clinical needs of each user and are built in-country using locally available materials. An online database allows local therapists to upload photos and data from seating evaluations for review by experienced therapists for quality control and mentorship. We are interested in developing new partnerships
