Target Group 

OSU has offered an undergraduate minor in Disability Studies since 2003; it is now one of the highest-enrolling interdisciplinary minors at the University. It began offering a Graduate Interdisciplinary Specialization (GIS)in Disability Studies in 2006.OSU Disability Studies also sponsors many events and collaborates extensively as a member of the Diversity & Identity Studies Collective at OSU (DISCO).  Read more about the structure of the program in the About Us section.

 The interdisciplinary OSU Disability Studies program is designed to provide a context of understanding the meaning and experience of difference in society by requiring students to examine how disability intersects gender, race, class, age, and sexuality as well. The program draws from a total of 12 academic Units, Centers, Departments and Schools across 4 Colleges
